At the start of my freshman year, I was reluctant to join MUN, but after having the privilege of exploring global politics and public    speaking when attending my first conference, I was hooked. UHSMUN didn’t just give me the chance to pursue my interests or      develop crucial life skills, it also connected me with a community of truly exceptional individuals.

Outside of MUN, I participate in Mock Trial and am an editor for the Sword & Shield. In my free time, you might find me playing board games with my family and friends, experimenting in the  kitchen, working out in the gym, or playing with my two cats.

Director Of Affairs

MUN is, without a doubt, one of my favorite clubs on campus. Not  only has it dramatically improved my confidence and speaking        skills, but it has also given me a chance to become part of a            close-knit and supportive community on campus. At the same         time, I have been able to explore new perspectives and pursue a   wide range of interests. Besides MUN, on campus I’m also in track, Mock Trial, Ethics Bowl, FBLA, Spaceset, and more! And in my free  time, you can find me hanging out with my friends at utc, singing    along to Taylor Swift classics, and baking (probably cookies or
macarons). If you ever need anything, don’t hesitate to ask, I’m        always happy to help!!

Publicity

As someone whose interests align with the sciences, I never expected MUN to become such an influential aspect of my high school experience. It turned out, however, that there was a covert coalition of STEMUNers, and through them, I’ve gained numerous insights on how to improve myself as a speaker and writer. Outside of MUN, I help run Uni’s Poetry Club (Meetings every Wednesday in JG’s – Room 219), play guitar, dabble in cardistry, and most importantly, catch Pokémon. 🐳
